Welcome to Knights Epoxy Flooring

Are you planning to resurface your office, workplace or home floor with a sleek, dust-free and non-slip surface that will last for life? And again, do you want to make sure it does dig a hole in your coffer?

Well, opting for concrete epoxy flooring will serve you the best. It is actually a liquid resin made up of two different ingredients. These two ingredients, when mixed together, turn into a stout plastic film, which, when applied on the concrete surface, creates a durable non-slip surface. It remains unaffected by hail, rain or shine, you can walk on it without the fear of slipping, and it does not need any maintenance whatsoever.

However, when it comes to epoxy flooring in Melbourne, we at Knights Epoxy Flooring are one of the best in the business. Thanks to our experience and knowledge, we come up with a seamless service that not only meets your needs and expectations but goes beyond!

What’s the process?

Standard Colour Epoxy Floor

A standard colour epoxy is a three-day process which comprises of; Diamond grinding the floor to ensure a flat surface and to open up the pores in the slab to obtain a surface that the epoxy will ‘bond’ to filling holes and cracks to create a nice finish

Applying two coats of Epoxy

On the final day we coat our floors with polyurethane to not only give the floor extra strength but also make the floor UV stable as Epoxy isn’t 100% UV stable and has a chance of yellowing & discolouring over time if exposed to direct sunlight

Epoxy Flake Flooring

Epoxy flake flooring is a four day process which is similar to standard colour. The difference is that on the second day drink the send coat we broadcast small paint flakes over the floor to give a nice decretive finsih the third day we remove excess flake and apply the first coat of polyurethane on the final day we sand the floor and apply a second coat of polyurethane
Our floors can be walked on 24 hours after Completion and driven on after seven days to allow for the Epoxy & polyurethane to fully cure ensuring full strength if floors are driven on before this time it can damage the coating and leave tyre marks that cannot be remove
